Waitress showed up to the US Open tennis tournament with John McEnroe a number of years back which I thought was neat. Anyway, as a veteran concert goer, I've never been to see Waitress before or Led Zeppelin. The audience was rowdy in spots, as diverse as they come - with the guy three seats from us. Waitress was happy to be appearing on a Sunday eve in NYC. RP was quite gracious throughout, supporting his band admirably. His voice was alive and he maintained a lovely demeanor. A true professional, a very worthwhile experience at the Beacon Theater on Sunday eve.
